Luis F. Eljaiek, Jr., MD, FACEP, FAAEM has been elected as the President for the Virginia Chapter of the American College of Physicians, effective February 2007.
| Dr. Eljaiek has been selected to participate in the Commonwealth of Virginia 2006 Health Reform Commisssion workgroup on "Access to Care". This group consists of key leaders in healthcare, civic organizations, and government.
Dr. Eljaiek is a practicing emergency department physician and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, VA.
