Peter J. Paganussi, M.D., FACEP has been appointed President-Elect of the Virginia Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (i.e. VACEP). He will begin his term as President in 2009/2010.
| Dr. Paganussi has been a member of the VACEP Board of Directors since 2002, and has been Editor of Epic, VACEP's quarterly newsletter, since 2000. His quarterly columns for Epic have also appeared in National ACEP News and one of them, "Haunted By The Living", was recipient of ACEP's "Best of the Best Award" for 2006/2007. He has been Chairman of the Political Action Committee and the Web-Site Committee. Dr. Paganussi is also a founding member of ACEP's Section of Medical Humanities and is Secretary for 2008. He serves as Editor of the Section's newsletter Muse. Dr. Paganussi has been an Attending Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Inova Fairfax Hospital since 1989.
