Inova Fairfax Hospital Named “Best ER in the Washington Area”

Washingtonian, April 2009 – In an article titled “Trouble in the ER” in the April 2009 issue of Washingtonian magazine, written by veteran healthcare reporter John Pekkanen, BestPractices Emergency Department at Inova Fairfax Hospital was named the “best ER in the Washington area” by a considerable margin. Using the magazine’s list of nearly 500 “Top Doctors,” Washingtonian surveyed where they would go for an emergency. The results were very dramatic:
